In this tutorial I'll be walking you through how to make a basic melodic dubstep drop. Wanted to do something different and walk you through in a step by step style, with all of the samples I used provided, and only using stock Ableton plug-ins and Serum.
This is meant to be a basic building block for you guys to learn and build from. There's a lot of character needed to be input but this will show you what sorts of moves i use to get a basic idea down. From here you can get creative with layers, leads, chops, fills etc etc.
