Sound design pro Thomas Cochran delivers in-depth Future Bass sound design video tutorials that show you how to create the sounds that drive this popular genre, plus gives you the skills needed to create new sounds for your productions. Throughout the videos Thomas uses MASSIVE X and Serum, two of the the most popular virtual instruments for Electronic Music production to show you how to craft the sounds that make Future Bass. But, any modern wavetable synth can also be used to make these sounds, so the info shown in the videos translates well to other wavetable synths.
Thomas begins the course with Bass patches, and you'll see how to craft both a heavy 808 Bass patch and a huge Sub Bass patch from scratch, as well as what to do and what not to do when sorting your Bass sounds for the Future Bass genre. Then it's on to the Chords, and you'll learn how to fabricate killer keys including an ambient patch great for intros or breakdowns, detuned keys for a ghostly vibe, and both Super and Hyper Saw presets for when you want to get down to business.
Moving on you'll also see how to make an arpeggiated lead sound perfect for your drops, a textured lead designed for breakdowns, and last but not least, a powerful saw lead to use for alternate sections of a drop.
