Kruspe (Rammstein). Designed and developed in close collaboration with the man himself, we've unlocked the secrets behind this iconic band's trademark sound.
THE MAN BEHIND THE SOUND
With a keen interest in technology, Kruspe is really an expert on tube amps and guitar recording. Over the years he also experimented with various amp and speaker simulations, but they just didn't work for him. Until now.
After meticulous work together with our developers at his personal studio, Richard Z. Kruspe was so impressed with the end result that he often uses it to record demos at home. Enjoying the quick and easy interface, Richard also brings his slick RAMMFIRE setup on tour, using it to warm up back-stage before gigs.
TRUE SOUND FROM A UNIQUE SETUP
Richard Z. Kruspe's personal recording setup has been studied and meticulously modeled using the original recording chain, including some of the finest boutique studio gear available. With close assistance from Richard Z. Kruspe himself every detail of his setup was recreated, a task spanning from amp modeling, to recording real impulse responses from his studio, to Richard working on the sound design both for the Matched Cabinet module and the rack presets himself!
ULTIMATE CONTROL
RAMMFIRE offers an instantly satisfying choice of authentic Richard Z. Kruspe sounds, yet gives the user total control over the specific ingredients when needed. The Control Room module offers the original channel strips to tweak the blend of different mics, cabinets and preamp settings, just like in Richard's real studio setup.
