CUSTOM VALVE EQUALIZER is an all-vacuum tube EQ and is one of the most amazing tube EQ's ever! There are fewer than 50 currently in existence, hand-built by a small, independent engineer. The CVQ has a Low Shelf EQ, Wide Mid EQ, and a High Shelf EQ. Where the Pultec-style program equalizer is among the best sounding designs that use a passive eq and tube make-up gain, The Custom Valve EQ uses the actual tube to alter the frequency spectrum and balance the signal levels. It has a custom output transformer to fully balance the output.
