Ozone 8 is a powerful tool by Izotope that tons of producers and engineers constantly utilize. Ozone 8’s equalizer has one of the best “Match EQ” functions out there. They’ve developed an incredibly clear and intuitive UI for this function that will be fully showcased by Maxim in this tutorial.
Using a Big Room House track in Ableton Live, Maxim will show you how Ozone 8’s EQ allows you to match the frequency curve of your track to that of a reference track or a pink noise curve. This feature is especially useful for producers who don’t have access to high-level studio equipment or haven’t yet trained their ear well enough to recognize subtle mix issues.
