In this video tutorial series, Novation pro Josh Bess shows beginners how to get up and running fast with Novation’s Circuit, the way-cool all in one sequencer, synth and sampler!
Josh begins by welcoming you and goes over the important basics such as getting started and connection setup. He then jumps right in and demonstrates how to build drum grooves, and change your drum samples.
Next, Josh breaks down the finer points of Circuit including the Velocity Button, Using & Creating Patterns, the Mixer Section, Circuit’s built-in Effects, Adjusting Tempo, adding Swing, and the Synth & Scale Modes.
Josh now gets more into the creative side of things and shows you how to Create a Synth Sequence, Record a Synth Pattern in Realtime, Use Sidechaining, Nudge notes for a better feel, Using Synth and Drum Macros, as well as Recording them, Importing Custom Samples and much, much more.
