Cèilidh - Celtic Folk Songs is a collection of Irish and Scottish traditional tunes featuring Violin, Guitar, Tenor Mandola and Mandolin. It comes with over 800MB of recordings, and is delivered as whole pieces divided into individual Loops. Each tune has been selected to compliment modern creative music production, with specific tempo and atmospheres from the Celtic genre - from the Dreamtime of Hector the Hero to the head on attack of Drowsy Maggie, and all stations in between – this Celtic Folk Songs is a time capsule of sound, waiting to be unearthed.
There are 12 completely arranged and instrumented tunes in Cèilidh - Celtic Folk Collection with 156 individual 24 Bit WAV loops, and an equal number of Rex2 Loops to chop up in the mix. The format is based on a traditional 16 bar cycle – with each tune at 2 or 4 time, usually termed `Reels’, with 3, 6 or even 9 time `Jigs’ – which means all the loops will fit multiples of 2 in many interesting ways! Each tune is separated into individual instrument parts, which have been divided into smaller Loops for useful inspiration in other styles.
