Flatpack Analogik Drums v1.2

Flatpack Analogik Drums is a collection of unique drum kits, constructed from recordings of highly sought-after analog modular gear. This Pack combines the old-school flavour of analog drums with fresh and colorful snares, kicks, cymbals, toms, claps and percussive elements, making it perfect for a variety of productions.

Using the latest high-end analog modular equipment, Flatpack recorded 1,260 analog samples, taking care to capture and keep the hardware’s defining characteristics intact. These samples were then processed into 561 drum sounds, including snares, claps, kicks, toms, cymbals and percussion elements. Flatpack also used round robin sample playback where necessary, to replicate the evolving nature of analog equipment.

This Pack offers a versatile collection of classic drum sounds that hark back to the days of electro and early hip-hop, alongside some fresher, bolder and sometimes more twisted percussive ingredients – claps that are drenched in distortion, bells that sound like lasers, toms that wobble, and much more.

Analogik Drums comes with 40 preset drum kits, each armed with a unique combination of 16 drum sounds. Each kit has a similar layout of drums, for quick familiarity. All drum hits can be swapped and mixed in any order for easy customization, or for creating totally new kits.

The 40 kits are divided into three types: Standard, Abstract and RingMod. The Standard kits are mapped with eight Macro Controls: Global Pitch, Soft Attack, KickTom Release, HiHat Level, Broken Phaser, Tea Filter, Snare Slap and Reverb. The Abstract kits replace some of those Macro Controls with a few surprises, including Resonate, HiPass Filter, Flanger Dry/Wet, as well as several overdrive settings.

The RingMod kits contain drum hits with an impressive stereo spread that was created by high-quality ring modulation modules, such as the acclaimed Cwejman FSH-1. The ring modulation can be blended into the original mono drum hit, so you can set the right amount as needed.
