Since 2004, Rob ‘Activa’ Stevenson has forged a career as one of the hardest working producers in the trance genre, with a number of aliases and styles, releasing on the biggest labels in the world including Paul van Dyk’s mighty Vandit Records, Black Hole, Armada, and Anjunabeats, before finding a home at UK independent, Discover Records where he released the critically acclaimed album This World in 2009 and its follow-up To The Point in 2011.

Activa Trance Essentials 2 is the long-awaited follow-up to Activa Trance Essentials, one of the most successful products within the Freshly Squeezed Samples product catalogue. However the time it’s bigger and better than before, containing a brand new collection of inspirational bassline loops, bass hits and multi-samples, construction kits and MIDI kits, percussion loops, drum hits, FX, synth loops and hits, remix kits, and–new to the Activa catalog–Sylenth1 presets. Sample Pack Content

First off we have a complete and comprehensive sample pack containing thousands of drum one shots (kicks, open hats, closed hats, snares, cymbals, percussion hits, etc.), hundreds of percussion top loops, a highly comprehensive FX section (all neatly categorized, named and labelled), actual ‘usable’ melodic and bass line loops (in most cases each with associated MIDI files), hundreds of synth, bass and stab one shots, synth presets and much more.

Every sample is clearly named and numbered with appropriate BPM and key labelling information appended to each filename. Along with this, all files are carefully categorized into a well thought out folder structure in classic Freshly Squeezed Samples style, so it’s both quick and easy to find the sound you are looking for in during those late night studio sessions.

Each construction kit is key and BPM labelled for ease of use.

Product Compatibility

This product includes a combination of WAV files, MIDI files and synthesizer presets (sound banks). All the files are compatible with Image-Line Fruity Loops, Ableton Live, Apple Logic, Steinberg Cubase and any digital audio workstation (DAW) that supports WAV and MIDI files.
