Goodhertz v.2.0.0 Complete bundle AU-[ked]-DiGiTAL MACHiNE

Today we’re proud to an­nounce a re­lease that has been in the works for months: v2.0, an up­grade for our en­tire plu­gin suite. Not only does ver­sion 2.0 look and feel bet­ter, it’s light­ning-fast under the hood — we’ve spent hun­dreds of hours of R&D to make v2.0 as quick and light­weight as pos­si­ble. v2.0 is also packed with some great new fea­tures & im­prove­ments and a new, free mid/side plu­gin.

Lossy
Of all the plu­g­ins, Lossy 2.0 is per­haps the most dif­fer­ent from its pre­de­ces­sor. To be clear, noth­ing has been lost from ver­sion 1.0. We’ve sim­ply added new “styles” of dig­i­tal loss — or “modes” as we call them. In ad­di­tion to the clas­sic Stan­dard Loss (which mim­ics the com­pres­sion al­go­rithms of MP3-like codecs), we recre­ated some other modes of dig­i­tal “loss”:
•Inverse Mode — everything that MP3 codecs strip out of the audio
•Phase Jitter — random inaccuracies in phase and timing
•Packet Loss — data packet dropouts of a bad connection
•Packet Repeat — repeated packets caused by a bad connection
•Standard + Packet Loss
•Standard + Packet Repeat

Keep­ing track of all these new loss modes can be a lit­tle daunt­ing, so we added a new side­bar vi­su­al­iza­tion to help you see as well as hear them in re­al­time.
We’ve also up­dated the fil­ter con­trols for eas­ier fil­ter­ing, as well as in­cluded an “In­vert” fil­ter mode that al­lows you to, well, in­vert your fil­ter.

Vulf Compressor
Some of Vulf Com­pres­sor’s magic cer­tainly re­sides in its mys­tery, but we wanted to take just a lit­tle mys­tery of out of the me­ter­ing. So the IN and OUT slid­ers now have in­line me­ters for easy mon­i­tor­ing.
One other small im­prove­ment: be­cause, some­times, you don’t re­ally want to be faith­ful to the nois­i­ness of the Roland SP-303’s turn-of-the-cen­tury elec­tron­ics, we added a lit­tle tog­gle in the side­bar. When it’s lit up, noise is at its de­fault value — that is, quite noisy. But when you click it once, the noise is muted. (Click again to get the noise back.)
Tone Control
Though its cat­a­log num­ber (0003) would sug­gest Tone Con­trol was our third plu­gin, it was ac­tu­ally the first in­ter­face we de­signed. When we re­vis­ited Tone Con­trol last month, we thought: what would this plu­gin look like if we de­signed it today in­stead of over two years ago? The an­swer: Tone Con­trol 2.0 — more com­pact, more func­tions, more func­tional. Go ahead: con­trol some tones!
In ad­di­tion to a new lay­out, im­proved me­ter­ing, and a larger fre­quency re­sponse curve, we’ve added an “HQ Mode” with a lin­ear phase con­trol. The “HQ Mode,” which uses the high­est pre­ci­sion fil­ters we’ve ever built, sounds in­cred­i­ble, and the vari­able lin­ear phase con­trol takes it even fur­ther. Go from ana­log-style min­i­mum phase op­er­a­tion to ruler-flat lin­ear phase in one smooth con­trol.
Lastly, Tone Con­trol 2.0 adds an ad­vanced “Pro­cess­ing Mode” — mak­ing it pos­si­ble to process only part of a stereo input: left, right, mid, or side. Use it to quickly tone-sculpt your stereo con­tent or fix an un­bal­anced stereo field.
Trem Control
Trem Con­trol’s side­bar mon­i­tor now in­cludes an ac­cu­rate vi­su­al­iza­tion of the cur­rent “po­si­tion” of the tremolo curve.
As in Vulf Com­pres­sor, Trem Con­trol also has a new side­bar noise tog­gle. (After all, one of the great ben­e­fits of dig­i­tal tech­nol­ogy is that you don’t have to have noise if you don’t want it).
