UVI has created Relayer, a truly mind-blowing delay plug-in, and studio guru Brock Jon covers all of its features and functions, as well as how you can creatively use this effect to build everything from a simple echo to complex, evolving multi-tap patterns.
Brock starts with an overview of the entire plug-in, its layout and capabilities, followed by all the basics of how to use it the way you'd use any traditional delay processor.
After that, things get interesting! Brock demonstrates how you can use the Time Tab to create complex rhythmic patterns, as well as how to utilize the Gain, Pan, and Transform functions.
Brock then dives into the Filtering and Modulation options that you can apply to the delayed signal to really get wild and unique sounds.
Wrapping it up, Brock demonstrates best practices for using the Input Gate, Modulation, Color, and Master Filter controls.
