XCTR is a multi band harmonic exciter based on our Head Crusher saturation.
Harmonic exciters can give a shine to certain frequencies in the mix.
They can be used on drums to make the cymbals shine, bring up the kick drum on a stereo bus, bring some life back into a dull instrument, or even some shine to the whole mix.
Multi-band Harmonic Exciter
XCTR is a multi band harmonic exciter based on our Head Crusher saturation.
XCTR includes 4 bands that can be independently driven and mixed into the signal.
Each band in XCTR has 5 selectable saturation modes, that can be independently mixed
and matched between each band.
Engage the oversample switch if you need to enhance the saturation quality.
