Universal Audio created 3 classic Teletronix LA-2A Leveling Amplifiers for the UAD platform, and studio master Brock Jon teaches you how to use them. Brock guides you step by step on how you can use the 3 LA-2A variants on nearly any program material, and change its sound for the better!
Beginning with an overview of why the LA-2A is one of the most famous compressors in the world, Brock describes each of the three plug-ins included in the collection, the LA-2A Silver, LA-2A Gray, and the LA-2, including their similarities and differences.
The next videos reveal how to use the various plug-ins on different types of tracks. The LA-2A is known as a classic vocal compressor, and Brock shows how each model can affect vocals differently. Brock then uses the LA-2A models on Drum Overheads and Room Mics, as well as the Drum Bus. Then discover how to set up the LA-2A models for Guitar and Bass Guitar Tracks.
