The UBK-1 is a texturizing, dynamics-shaping animal of a plugin that will surprise and inspire you in ways that typically require expensive analog hardware, because it was painstakingly designed and meticulously tweaked for 18 months by an unapologetic analog snob.
The heart of the UBK-1 is a ferocious Compressor that goes beyond mere transient shaping and into the realm of completely redefining the groove of your sounds. When it Saturates, it also softens any harsh digital edges and makes unruly or uninteresting tracks harmonically richer and easier to mix. Top it off with the mysterious Density engine, and the result is a color palette rife with highly musical textures and rich, euphonic distortions.
