Cytomic The Drop v0.9.18 AU VST RTAS Ked MAC OSX-Cook

The Drop is an analog modeled resonant filter plug-in that is currently in an open beta testing stage. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulation packages but optimised for real time use. There is a huge level of detail in the models, which gives them amazing drive and tone, but also takes a large chunk of your CPU. As well as the full circuit models more efficient algorithms will be included for situations where CPU considerations are more important than tone, but even these models are of the highest quality.

Even though the product is currently in an open beta testing stage, it can still be purchased immediately. The advantage is you get to use it straight away in your production, but since it is in Beta there may be some issues to resolve. The preset format is final and so songs saved with the Beta will always continue to load properly with the full version once it's ready.

nown issues / Features missing in the Beta
Not all the circuit models are finished. Currently only the Sallen Key, and Sallen Key MS2 (based on the Korg MS20 mk2) and the Cascade, and Cascade SH (based on a cross between the Roland Juno-6 and SH-9) are ready. Other other circuit models to be added are Sallen Key MS1 (based on the Korg MS20 mk1), Ladder, Ladder PR (based on the Moog Prodigy)
No presets just yet
No Led indicators showing the Lfo, Env1, and Env2 levels
Possible clicks when toggling LpActive and HpActive buttons, this will be smoothed
Slight clicks when changing circuits which will remain in the final version
Midi triggering needs a legato mode
MIDI learn not done yet
Sens knob on envelopes only currently works with Audio input, not MIDI
Envelope Trig mode not yet implemented for audio sources, it currently just uses Gate mode all the time which is a regular envelope follower circuit
Entire plugin needs more optimisations
