On Tibetan Singing Bowls the singing bowls create a pathway of sounds to enter into our innermost worlds. A harmony of the spheres, balancing both sides of the brain. Previously used in Tibet for meditation and ceremonial purposes, Tibetan Singing Bowls are struck with a padded mallet or rubbed around the rim with a playing mallet to produce a fascinating blend of harmonic resonances and rich overtones.
The unparalled collection of rare Tibetan Singing Bowls offered by Bodhisattva Trading Co. Inc. are guaranteed to be authentic antiques from the Himalayas, and are between 100 and 400 years old.
Since 1981 Danny Becher, born 1953 in Germany, heads seminars on musical phenomena and gives concerts in different European countries. Before that, he lived in India for 9 years, working in an Ayurvedic Institute, and as a designer and organizer in a multi-cultural-centre. He studied yoga and how to play tabla in Indian classical music. Since childhood he has trained in music and completed studies in Western classical music theory, classical music history and conducting.
