Ken Lewis shows you how to minimize snare bleed into your cymbal mics on a live drum kit. This can help you improve the overall sound of the kit and give you more control over the sound of each individual drum in the kit. Ken demonstrates this technique using both dynamic compression as well as regular compression. Ken will also show you how he uses a Key Trigger to control a compressor with an external source, and he talks about how he records live drums. Very deep lesson, very inexpensive. Check it out!
