The Studio Rats 50-51 TONEX Pack

It's fair to say that these days Peavey might not be the first brand on anyones lips when it comes to high-end tube guitar amps, but back in 1992 Peavey teamed up with guitar icon Eddie Van Halen to create the now iconic Peavey 5150. A monster amp with enough gain to satisfie even the most demanding of high gain players. Our amp is the highly sought after “Block Letter” version of the 5150. There were two versions, the “Signature” which featurered Eddie's signature under the power LED, which is said to be a little harsher than the Mk1 or Block Letter with the solid black EVH under the power LED. Here we give you 11 amp captures of this amazing and these days highly collectable amp. Everything from the low gain “clean” of the Rhythm channel. Through the Bright and Crunch tones all the way up to the super cranked gain of the Lead channel via the High Gain input. This amp is far from a high gain one trick pony but that said, who buys a 5150 for it's clean tones?

Clean, Bright and Crunch come from the Rhythm channel. Lead and Lead HG (High Gain input) come from the Lead channel.
