This is as close to getting to instant gratification as you will ever get with an amp, if what you want are classic rock tones.
The Supro Supreme 1600R will turn any guitar into a rock monster, including Strats and Teles. One of the most famous Supro tones is Jimmy Page tyhrough his Coronado using, to the surprize of many, a Tele instead of a Les Paul for some fierce tones.
Supro amps as a Brand tend to do crunch well, but this one is really exceptional in that gain range with a nicely balanced tone between breightness, low end, punch and the right amount of raunchy without getting wooly, fuzzy, nasty.
It is a legit alternative to the usual suspects such as Marshalls for your every day rock tones and it definitely has a good chance of becoming your daily driver for those tones.
It becomes a bit bright and/or thin, when dialed in REALLY clean, but it will do glorious cleans by rolling back the volume on your guitar.
The set includes 30 full captures that were recorded through its built in Jensen C10R 10"speaker and the mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.
