Then this is the method for you! Start studying and mastering scale sequences right away, which will help you create new licks, new melodies and geometries to insert into solos, thus enriching your musical vocabulary. They are used by all musicians of every musical genre, from classical to rock, from blues to metal and are fundamental for composition, improvisation and guitar technique. What are guitar scale sequences?

A sequence consists of playing a group of notes before moving on to the next degree of the scale. It is generally composed of groups of three, four, five and six notes but also of intervals of thirds, fourths, sevenths, etc. They are very useful for practicing, memorizing and speeding up scales without ever getting bored. All the scale sequence models present in the method are in C major and A minor pentatonic precisely to facilitate study and learning, but obviously they can be applied to all scales, from harmonic and melodic minor, to modal scales, to pentatonic scales and also on major, minor, seventh arpeggios, etc. It is recommended to practice daily, starting slowly and gradually increasing the speed. All examples are transcribed in standard notation, picking, fingering and tablature.
