In this Masterclass Luca guides you step by step through the main masterclass PDF. This is the core of the lesson content containing everything you need to know about really getting the most out of soloing over the 2-5-1 with the use of arpeggios, altered dominants and a focus on the superlocrian scale! There's even fretboard diagrams so that everything is extra clear!
Luca starts you off with the exercises, designed to really take your fretboard navigation skills to new heights. By leaving no stone unturned with advanced arpeggio studies and looped exercises, you'll develop the proficiency and ease required to pull out endless soloing ideas when creating your own 2-5-1 vocabulary!
On the subject of vocabulary, Luca has prescribed some very cool and challenging 2-5-1 licks for you to study and learn, as well as a full solo to round things off. This will require you to dig deep and muster up some killer chops at times, but you can take it as slow as you like because everything you need such as TAB/Notation and backing are ready to be analysed! The full solo is Lucas 'real world' example of these ideas in the context of a track, and contains many of the ideas presented in the exercises and licks as well as a treasure chest of variations and extra little nuggets that you can extract to add to your tool belt too!
Make it to the end of this three-part series and not only will Luca turn you into a master of the 2-5-1, but you'll have everything you need to play freely and creatively over a timeless progression that is often considered a cornerstone of music both old and new!
