The 'Sounds' series by Gio Israel is a window to the worlds' ancient musical traditions and; last remaining musical masters of our time.
Morocco is the cultural bridge between south of Spain and North Africa, merging both Andalusian influences that range from Flamenco to Middle Eastern/Arabic music to rhythmic style and language associated with North Africa. The old folk music of the region was commonly used in ceremony and prayer and was kept together by local, traditional communities.
This series was recorded by musician and; composer Gilad Hazan who's a world expert in the north African and; Andalusian Music.
