Afrobeat has become a musical reference in the world across almost every genre imaginable. It's the meeting of several genres, several continents, several stories, and several identities. Balancing sounds from highlife, funk, jazz, melodies of African voices, and African percussion, this music - under the creative impulse of the legendary Fela Kuti - has become an international influence carried by outstanding Nigerians and African musicians. Producer Pape Armand Boye's vision for this pack (made at LaBoutique Studio) was to work with incredible African musicians to recreate the glorious vibes of the Nigerian style. As a result, he crafted a pack that successfully represents the essence of the Lagos sound with real instrumentalists, not computers.
