From galloping rhythms to spiraling leads, this pack captures the delicate nuance of the Central Asian gut stringed instrument.

He has served as musical director for the award-winning folk theater group Ordo Sakhna and teaches traditional music at Ustatshakirt Plus. In addition to touring internationally, he has received fellowships and honors from Aga Khan Trust for Culture, Montalvo Arts and the U.S. State Department’s OneBeat program.
