These sounds are a fusion of inspiration from artists on the boom bap spectrum like DJ Premier, Madlib, and Dilla with an African instrumental pallet. Produced in Fruity Loops, Ableton, Logic, you’ll find loops and one-shots featuring ngoni, kora, flutes, and horns paired with booming bass and hip hop beats.
