Metallik is a metal impacts sound effects library featuring metal hits with velocity layers and round-robin variations on each sound. Create compelling sound design using the distinct sonic qualities of metallic objects including ringing hollow pipes and tubes, punchy sheet metal, clanking chains and more.
What is round-robin? Round-robin is a sample playback method that lets you trigger different variations of the same sound. This allows for greater realism in repetitive sound design and avoids the “machine gun” effect.
Captured at 24-bit-96kHz by recordist Saro Sahihi, these sounds are compiled in round-robin variations for ease of editing and triggering to add realistic metal slams, bangs, punches, and smashes to your projects. An assortment of metal objects including hammers, anvils, pipes, chairs, crowbars, and aluminum pieces allow for all kinds of metal percussion, debris, rummaging and more.
