Studio wiz Larry Holcombe presents comprehensive XO video tutorials! This useful plugin from XLN Audio, which helps you organize your samples, contains a myriad of features that make beatmaking fun and efficient, and this course will teach you everything you need to know. Larry takes you through all the plugin's components and demonstrates each with useful examples, so you'll be ready to incorporate XO into your workflow before you know it. These videos are for new XO users.
Larry welcomes you and begins with a tour of the interface, also demonstrating how to set up multi-output routing for the plugin. He then covers the Space View, which allows you to select samples based on similarity and filter them in various ways. The Edit View is covered as well, which contains all the expected options for tweaking your samples, such as start/end time adjustments, panning, pitch, tone, etc.
Next, explore the Sequencer and learn how to program notes, rolls, velocities, accents, and more. The Beat Combiner and Sample Combiner are covered next, both of which allow you to fine-tune your beats with various sounds, variations, and more.
Throughout the rest of the course, you'll learn about many more useful features, such as the Master and Send FX, exporting MIDI and WAV files, adding samples, the Preset Browser, and more. Larry finishes the course by creating an example beat, bringing together everything you've learned!
