The Tom Superball is a creative sound-design library, part of a series of extended percussion sample libraries. It consists of a beautifully sampled tom-tom played with a superball mallet (also known as the resonant mallet). A highlight of this library is the “Cassette” feature, which enables the samples played through the vintage analogue Grundig Cassette Deck, adding a lot of depth and harmonics to the sound.
The Tom Superball library blurs the line between music and sound design, providing beautiful otherworldly sounds that are perfect for sound design and can easily blend and elevate your music. These unique samples are full of character and movement, adding another layer and a lot of depth to your creations.
The library comes with 4 distinct patches:
2 Tom Superball scratches: Original and Cassette modes – with Long, Medium, and Short samples;
and 2 Tom Superball Loops: Original and Cassette modes – with pitched and looped evolutions extended on the full keyboard that can be played chromatically;
Tom Superball also offers a great selection of useful and carefully selected effects built-in on its GUI.
