Splice Sessions Senegalese Dub WAV
FANTASTiC | 15 January 2021 | 370 MB
Produced by Pape Armand Boye at La Boutique Studios in Dakar, this pack brings together some of the top African reggae and dub players to showcase the Senegalese spin on the genre. Processed through Roland Space Echos and other classic boxes, this pack gets close to the classic ‘70s sound of early dub music by Osbourne "King Tubby" Ruddock, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and Errol Thompson.
These sounds are raw material primed to be spun together into a kaleidoscope of psychedelic, spacey songs. Or, used as a subtle hint, a nod to those who provided us with the rhythms and methods that influenced so much popular music today.
