Splice Originals: Cosmic Soul Keys is a collection of ideas improvised by keyboardist, composer, and producer, Jason Matthews. He composed these sounds on the spot with vintage keyboards and synthesizers including a Deckards Dream, Rhodes Mk1, Prophet 6, Micromoog, Arp Odyssey, Hammond M3, Wurlitzer, Moog Sonic 6, and of course, a classic grand piano.
The ideas expressed in this pack were captured in reaction to certain grooves and feels, experimenting sonically with how the instruments felt and played within each space. This pack is a snapshot of Matthews' creative taste as a keyboard player. Each sample follows a cosmic theme. Find atmospheric loops designed for each astrological sign; spacey analog and acoustic drum loops; a big variety of melodic loops for different environments; loops dedicated to each synthesizer, keyboard, and piano; and of course, drum and melodic one-shots.
