You will hear the high-quality rough mix Brauer received from producer John Shanks, a commentary on the areas he felt could be improved, and his final mix. Brauer explains how he tackled the project from both an emotional and technical perspective.

He shows all of the hardware and software processing used, bypasses to compare results, and elaborates on his reasons for using specific pieces of equipment and plug-ins. In addition to individual part treatment, he shares the details of his 'master rack' used for analog mix bus processing. He also discusses his mixing philosophy, the roles of his assistants, and receiving desired material from artists and producers.
