Splice Originals Soulful Strings with The Splice Sounds String Quartet WAV
P2P | 26 May 2020 | 477.54 MB
The Splice String Quartet returned to the studio to perform soulful strings in the classic 1970s soul style. For this edition, we focused on creating string loops that would be at home in modern and classic R&B productions.
We recorded and layered the arrangements multiple times to create a larger chamber ensemble sound that resembles the classic Motown Records and Brunswick Records releases of the 70s. Influences that inspired the string compositions in this pack range from the classics of Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes, and The Delphonics all the way through modern acts like Khalid and Daniel Ceasar. Add the lush emotional sounds of real strings to your productions with this pack.

Team DECiBEL | 02 November 2019 | 319.0 MB We love the classic Motown records of the 60s and 70s that paired sliding orchestral arrangements with the sweet, syrupy voices of soul and R&B luminaries like Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield and the Chi-Lites. When the strings came in, they might circle, float, or serenade. They might pluck, tiptoe, or stagger. But they’d always play as one, forming the...
