By using both additive and granulation synthesis we were able to really focus on creating evolving elements in the frequency and time domain -- this allowed us to explore changing harmonic structure and discrete granular properties simultaneously -- the result of this exploration is textures that have the harmonic sweeps from additive and the distinct particulated sound from granulation synthesis.
