Roland released the first velocity sensitive electric piano in 1974, the EP-30. It was built in a sturdy road case with 4 preset sounds and a bass sound that could be blended with the others in the lowest octave. It had a vibrato with speed control that affected the volume, and a tone control. You could create some variation to the sound by pressing more than one preset button at a time. Today it’s quite rare to find.

If we where to describe the sound, “Pac Man piano” could be appropriate. EP-30 does not sound like a real piano, it sounds very Lo-Fi and cheesy, in a cool, retro way. We have sampled the instrument in full, every key and preset. The natural range of the Roland EP-30 is F0-F5, and F0-B1 for the Bass.
We have extended the range of the instrument from C0-C6 except the Bass which has been extended down only, to C0.

EP-30 contains:

• 263 24-bit mono WAV files
• 12 programs for Kontakt 3+ with scripted interface
• 5 programs for Kontakt 1+
• 5 programs for EXS24
• 5 programs for HALion
• 5 programs in SoundFont format

AUDIOSTRiKE 07/06/2015 | 143 MB The Andes 25F looks like a Melodion but it’s really a high-pitched panpipe organ with a sound between a panpipe and an ocarina. Instead of reeds, this instrument has pipes. It’s clear and sweet voice is great for contemporary acoustic music yet also suits medieval styles. Our scripted version for Kontakt 3+ offers ways to play and tweak the instrument beyond its...

AUDIOSTRiKE 06/06/2015 | 141 MB The Owerland steel string guitar has been recorded with mono and stereo microphones and later mixed down, equalized and compressed for a discrete, ready to use stereo sound suitable for melodic playing and arpeggios. If you are looking for the most realistic steel string acoustic guitar library, look elsewhere. This is a treated guitarsound that works in a mix for...
