In this "In Action" tutorial series, Bill Edstrom shows you around this unique dual-engine plug-in from iZotope and demonstrates how to use it creatively in your mixes!
iZotope has just changed the delay processing game with the new DDLY, which features two linked but separate delay processors, each of which can switch between an analog-style tape delay mode or a granular delay mode. Bill's first video introduces you to DDLY and covers all of the controls for both delays, and the unique way it uses a threshold slider to dynamically route your signal between them.
Then Bill shows you three exciting tricks for how to use DDLY as a dynamic delay processor on Vocals, including using it as a pre-delay before a reverb. Finally, Bill shows you three creative ways to use the granular delay mode in DDLY.
