Nothing will prepare you for this maelstrom of boisterous noise with inspiration taken from commercial Big Room bangers and of course, Joe Zay's signature brand of heavy hitting tweaked-out Complextro House.

Starting off with a deviously creeping drum and synth rhythmic pattern, you are immediately locked in and ensnared in a truly Machiavellian manner. The intro into Big Room MIDI Elements Vol.2 cunningly sits at the bottom of the ocean, ready to pounce and gradually evolving and revealing a glimpse of its true nature, already packing some punches. But, like any decent predator, Big Room MIDI Elements Vol. 2 implies its threat and insidiously hints at its most dangerous attack mechanisms, suddenly dropping out of view leaving you witless and unprepared. Luring you in still further like a lethal siren, a poignant melody surges and swells to a towering climax. After soaring to a thrilling crescendo, the build-up gives way to a cataclysmic drop followed by a platoon of glistening reverb-soaked Big Room synths whipping you in a way that you shouldn’t admit to enjoying. Like sonic sniper-fire, wretched, 8-bit synths ricochet around the massive metal casket in which you find yourself encased.

With your heart pumping out of your chest, the energy in this titanic tune is pumped even higher with adrenaline-fuelled, undulating tribal drums punching you from all angles. Don't expect any respite; the second wave of this combined assault carries a devastating Complextro payload. Be warned, this is EDM that bangs so hard you'll hear it resonate in your skull for days after exposure. When we say 'big' we mean 'BIG'!

All these superbly designed sounds are 100% editable, so you can see exactly how they are made and master the techniques within yourself. No rules, no limitations…just complete control at your fingertips.

Exploiting the staggering power of Abelton Live's built-in Instruments and Effects, you can easily control each sound as it is set up in Ableton's Simpler and mapped to one of Joe Zay's unique Macros. This also allows you to easily automate elements such as filters, sample start, loop length, bend, EQ and distortion…in no time, you will be transforming the template into your own song and creating and sculpting your own equally unique sounds.

Each track within the Ableton Arrangement View has also been duplicated as Clips in the Session View. From the Session View you can launch each Clip and play around with different arrangement ideas as well as add your own audio and MIDI clips. Each Clip is colour coded and clearly marked, making it easy to quickly navigate to the different parts of the template 'on the fly'. Plus, making great use of Ableton Live’s Macro mapping, any automation applied to a track in the Arrangement View is replicated in its associated track in the Session View. So, when you launch the Clip in Session View it will trigger the automation data for that track.

The mastering channel contains a combination of EQ, Distortion, Saturation, Compression and Limiting. Each element within the Mastering channel has a selection of settings uniquely, crafted by Joe Zay and can easily be changed to sculpt your own Mastering channel.
