In this video tutorial Karl Rose takes an in depth look at the comping methods introduced in Sonar X3.
He starts with the comping record mode and explains how to set up pre-recorded material to the same configuration. The differences between speed comping and manual comping are demonstrated. Speed comping on a vocal track, and a guitar solo used to demonstrate manual mode.
Finally he explains how to bounce the edits down and clean up the tracks once editing is finished. In fact, everything you need to know about Sonar’s comping tool set.
